The first set of 2025 for Japan, called SV9 Scarlet & Violet Expansion Pack Battle Partners, was revealed during the Champions League 2025 Osaka Livestream. The set is scheduled for release on January 24, 2025.

Along with the Battle Partners set and Trainer's Pokemon cards, new products called the Card Binder Set N / Card Binder Set Lillie got revealed and a Deck Build Box Battle Partners, which includes various staple cards to play with competitively.

Lastly a Battle Partners Promo card campaign will be held, you can get a special Iono's Wattrel promo card in Art Rare style if you purchase 1 booster box of Battle Partners.
